Nur Shuhadah If you look you will see that this world is a beautiful, accident, turbulent, succulent, opulent, permanent, no way. I wanna taste it! Don't wanna waste it away~ So knock me off my feet. Come on now give it to me baby. (: I'd rather be anything but ordinary. |

aah.. weddings always makes me a happy goober. (: Congratulations to Rad and Al~ Semoga berkekalan sehingga ke syurga~
getting married is not easy. i should know because i'm planning for my very own! so government, if you wanna know why the birth rate here is like those of elephants (fyi, female elephants are pregnant for 3-4 years aka AGES. beat that intelligent humans) you have come to the right blog. :D
it's been an issue for a few years. last time, it's stop at two children. tu lah.. pandai sgt kan. amek kau! now, the government wants the younger generation to marry and make babies. let me just say that the incentives are doing little to spur my ovaries on. dude, if it's that easy, i will marry azrie now. right NOW.
they say money is the root of all evil and that we should not be consumed by it. thing is, how NOT to when nth is free in this world. you just can't help but think about it.
Pre-marraige
first comes the wedding itself which cost a freaking bomb. this on its own, will take YEARS to save up and i can safely say that if the couple isn't committed enough, it might spell trouble. i do not want to trouble my parents so if i can, i want every single dollar to come out of my pocket.
and to have a house to call our own. O.M.F.G don't even get me started on this. i have only done research and it's already a pain in the ass. it's effing expensive, process takes ages unless you're a rich asshole, it's bloody costly and mother fudging pricey.
sure, you can bunk in with parents first. but how to make babies when you know your parents are just next door, praying that it won't hurt so bad for the daughter the first time.. muahaha~ i personally, am not going to do that. i'll work my ass off just for my own love nest. in short, i hate singapore housing system with vengence.
ANYWAYS~ i calculated and i think i need 20k..in two years. so goodbye youth.
Kpak Bing Bing!
CONGRATS~ both of you made it! here's the obligatory wedding bells for you! dundundundun~ dundundundunnnnn~ happy happy.. lovey dovey.. honeymoon here and there.
can you feel the love tonight...
then WHAM!
Baby baby baby noo~
(this stinking song is stuck inside my head, thanks to teh bf)
parents start asking when their grand-child will come. wonders if you're impotent. wonders if spouse is impotent. (worst case scenario ah..)
hello, ingat senang ke nak buat anak. you have to think about their expenses first. don't be irresponsible couples by having unplanned pregnancy ok. you don't want your kids to pay the price of your mistakes. condoms ppl. it's everywhere~ tho when i was young i thought they were candies. teehee!
gynae's appointment and eventually the delivery of baby itself is expensive. then there's the basics like pampers, formula milk and whatnots for the little one. after that, their ever-important education!
it's not that simple an issue to tackle dear government. i know that when i have a child to call my own, i want nothing but the best for him/her/them.
My take.
personally, i'm pro-family. incentives or no incentives, i still want to settle down with syg and have children of our own. (: besides, you can't bring along money with you when you die. doa anak soleh je yang boleh di bawa mati.
i want to be Muhd Azrie's wife..so that i can ravish him. (too much info for many?) muahahaha.. and i would love to have mini Azries and Shu-ees running around. each child brings their own rezeki afterall. ((:
besides, how can i refuse an angel like this? (:

In conclusion~
if the government do a little more with this issue, more might create little tots too right?
i don't know. sponsor 5000 bucks for first time couple's wedding? :D more friendly work-family-life balance policies? Longer maternity leave perhaps? UK's is one freaking year and that's crazy awesome. i have a colleague there and she tells me how rewarding it is to watch milestones of her baby girl, from her first words to her very first step~ mau pe?
or make it mandatory for have flexible working hours? allowance for stay-at-home moms? or monitor the income tax and ask filthy rich couples to make more babies since they can afford it anyways. duit simpan pun buat apa kan. sheesh. you can do better Mr Minister.
ok. i'm done complaining. now to put in effort towards becoming Mrs Azrie. bye!
